Meghan was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from the Wellington School in Upper Arlington before she went on to study child and family studies at Ohio University. This is her second year teaching at DCP, but for the past five years has been doing pick ups and drop offs for a DCP family. Being able to witness and assist children in their educational and personal growth is what has fueled her ten years of work in childcare. She is so excited to be part of the DCP family!
Val is originally from Paulding, Ohio. She has lived in Central Ohio since 2004 when she started college at The Ohio State University where she earned her Bachelor's of Music Education. She and her husband have a son Atticus who attended DCP.
For the last 10 years, she has been working in the Columbus Metropolitan Libraries in their early-literacy and after-school programs focusing on working with ESL families in the Dublin community. Her passion for working with children started when she was very young and has only grown as her roles of librarian, mother, and teacher have blended together to be utilized for DCP.
She is grateful for this opportunity to work, share, and grow with the students at DCP.
Katie grew up in Dublin, just up the street from DCP. She went to Bishop Watterson High School, then onto Miami University. Katie graduated with a double major in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. After working for Aldi Inc., she was blessed to be able to stay home with her four children: Alexis, Zack, Lizzy, and Jordyn. All four of her kids went to DCP for preschool. Katie is a huge soccer nut! She was the President and founder of a local soccer club, Northwest FC. There, she has been coaching kids (including her own) for the last 15+ years. Katie subbed at DCP for a couple of years, before becoming a part of the DCP staff in 2018.

She and her husband, Ryan, are parents to two children, Abigail and Walker, and one four-legged child, a yellow lab named Cooper. Becki has been an integral part of DCP since 2012. Witnessing the excitement of "light bulb moments" on the faces of preschool children is what brings her back year after year. She enjoys reading, going on walks with her dog and husband, and traveling with her family.
Currently in her 11th year of teaching at DCP, Julie brings a background in Recreation Education. She is also working towards her ECD certification at Columbus State. Kelsey attends Dublin Scioto High School where she plays two varsity sports and is an Honor Student. Ross is at Davis Middle School where he participates in band and orchestra. He is also on the Honor Roll. According to Julie, the best part about working at DCP is watching the children grow as they learn through play-based curriculum. It doesn't hurt that the staff is like family too!

Her mother's family is Italian and they have been to Italy several times together to visit relatives and see where her grandfather grew up. His family first spread their roots in Columbus in the 1930's, by opening Paoletti's, an Italian restaurant in downtown Columbus. She grew up with a love of food and cooking - still one of her favorite hobbies to this day!
She joined DCP in 2014 as a part-time teacher. Her mother was an educator and she has always wanted to be a teacher.
